Greetings from the World Customs Organization, East and Southern Africa, Regional Office for Capacity Building.
The Vice Chairperson of the World Customs Organization, East and Southern Africa (South Africa), and Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS), in conjunction with the WCO ESA Regional Office for Capacity Building is pleased to extend an invitation to the 42ⁿᵈ Regional Steering Group(RSG). The meeting will take place in Ezulwini, the Kingdom of Eswatini on the 5ᵗʰ to 7ᵗʰ November 2025 .
The RSG will review the status of the Decisions of the 31st Governing Council held in May 2025 in South Africa. It will also discuss various aspects of the new Regional Strategy (2025-2028) implementation, allowing members to share their strategies and experiences at national and regional levels/ The meeting will also aim to identify innovative practices to support the evolving role of Customs, discuss topical issues and receive updates from various entities such as the World Customs Organization.
This particular RSG will also play a pivotal role in guiding the finalization of our Regional Strategy Implementation/Work Plan (2025-2028), following the adoption of our new strategy by the 31st Governing Council..
