World Customs Organization, East and Southern Africa Regional Office for Capacity Building (WCO ESA ROCB) hosts Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA) to advance Regional Collaboration
Federation Of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA) delegation led by Mr. Elias Baluku paid a courtesy call to the WCO ESA Regional Office for Capacity Building (WCO ESA ROCB) on 3rd December 2025 to explore possible areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening capacity building and improving trade facilitation in the East African region. Both parties acknowledged the importance of working together to support member countries by enhancing professionalism within the supply chain while promoting Pillar 2 of the WCO’s SAFE Framework of Standards, which emphasizes enhanced cooperation to secure and facilitate global supply chains.
The Director WCO ESA ROCB, Ms. Josephine Manyasi ‘ndc’(K) emphasized on the need to align capacity building activities for both organizations aimed at enhancing trade efficiency within the region.
