Virtual Meeting on the Excise Function

On Tuesday, 13 August 2024, Mr. Ancharaz Sudhir hosted a virtual meeting attended by officers from the ESA ROCB, RILO, and the Vice Chair’s Office.

The session focused on the ‘Organizational Structure for Excise in the ESA Region’ and outlined key deliverables: conducting a comprehensive survey on the excise function in ESA, researching international best practices and guidelines from WCO and other institutions, and integrating excise functions into the proposed Regional Strategy 2025-2028.
