The Joint ROCB Benchmarking Meeting between the Americas & Caribbean and East & Southern Africa took place virtually.
During the session, our Director, Ms. Josephine Manyasi, congratulated the Americas & Caribbean ROCB Management Team, led by Auditor-Fiscal Marco Aurélio Mucci Mattos (Head of ROCB) and Auditor-Fiscal Dihego Antônio Santana de Oliveira (Deputy Head of ROCB). She also wished them great success in their efforts to promote the institutional strengthening of regional Customs administrations.
This milestone follows the Special Secretariat of the Brazilian Federal Revenue’s initiative to establish the Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) of the World Customs Organization (WCO) for the Americas and the Caribbean, after Brazil was selected as the regional host during the 146th/147th Sessions of the WCO Council, held in Brussels from 26 to 28 June 2024.
