Today, the working group held its inaugural formal meeting, chaired by Mr. Coffet Lebepe. During the meeting, Mr. Larry, Director of the WCO ESA ROCB, provided an overview of the ESA strategy framework. The group engaged in productive discussions and laid out the roadmap for drafting the new strategy.
Following the decision by the 30th ESA Region Governing Council to develop a new Regional Strategy for 2025-2028, the Regional Strategy Working Group has been reconstituted to lead this important initiative. The group consists of members with significant expertise in strategic development and a comprehensive understanding of both regional and global Customs challenges.
