The WCO ESA Project II, funded by Finland, in support of trade facilitation in 24 Member countries in East & Southern Africa. The project was launched by the Finnish Ambassador to Kenya, H. E. Ms. Taria Hernandez and the WCO Secretary General, Dr. Kunio Mikuria. The launch was also attended the the ESA Vice Chair & SARS (South Africa) Mr. Tom Moyane, Director General of Finnish Customs Mr. Antti Hartikainen, Kenya’s Commissioner for Customs, Mr. Julius Musyoki, the WCO ESA ROCB Director Mr. Larry Liza, among other dignitaries. The project aims to progress the Trade Facilitation agenda, within the framework of the WCO Mercator Programme, 2016-2019.
