The President of the Union of Comoros, H. E. Azali Assoumani attended the 10th African Union Sub-Committee of Directors General of Customs in Moroni, Comoros. The president spoke on the theme of the meeting focusing on Corruption and pledging Comoros’ commitment to the fight against corruption, urging all African Member States to put in measures to combat the vice. He acknowledged the critical role played by Customs in national economies, border protection and continental integration. He called on enhancing efforts to further continental development and trade facilitation.
