Undersecretary for Customs Administration, Secretariat of the Federal Revenue, Brazil, Ms. Claudia Regina Leão Nascimento Thomaz, is hosting the meeting. She reflected on the future of Customs, calling for the application of innovative solutions and modern technology to enhance Customs functions.
Secretary General of the World Customs Organization – Organisation Mondiale des Douanes, Mr. Ian Saunders emphasized the need to continually harness data and technology to advance Customs functions, integrating these with proven tools and instruments. He called for ongoing efforts to secure supply chains and enhance border security.
Both key speakers underscored the conference agenda, advocating for greater collaboration and partnerships among all stakeholders.
