The 36th WCO ESA RSG is ongoing, bringing together 16 member countries and chaired by Vice Chair’s representative Mr. Adrian Swarres (Zimbabwe). It’s considering various regional reports, status of the decisions of the Governing Council and implementation of the Regional Strategy. Panel discussions will seek convergence on various aspects of the Strategy.
The RSG was opened by Madagascar’s Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Mr. Ramanampanoharana Andry with remarks by Madagascar’s Director General Ernest Lainkana, WCO RSG Chair Adrian Swarres, ROCB Director Larry Liza & WCO Representative Mr. Oluimo da Silva.
