Today, the WCO ESA ROCB team had the honour of hosting Ms. Josephine Manyasi, the incoming Director of the WCO ESA ROCB. She was warmly received by the outgoing Director, Mr. Larry Liza, who officially introduced her to the team.
The meeting marked a significant moment of transition. Staff members shared their professional backgrounds, memorable experiences, and aspirations within the regional office, reaffirming their collective commitment to advancing the ROCB’s strategic goals.
There was a spirit of reflection and anticipation as the team looked back on key milestones and expressed their readiness to strengthen capacity in delivering the ROCB mandate particularly in the context of the new regional strategy.
Ms. Manyasi is expected to officially join the team in July 2025, with the handover process expected to continue in the interim.
