The 24ᵗʰ Session of the ISC is currently underway at the WCO Headquarters in Brussels in a hybrid format, allowing delegates unable to travel to Brussels to participate remotely via an online platform. The meeting, scheduled for 3ʳᵈ & 4ᵗʰ March 2025, commenced with opening remarks by WCO Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Ricardo Treviño Chapa.
This year, the ISC will assess the outcomes of the ISC Work Programme 2022–2025 and deliberate on the WCO’s future role in fostering integrity and good governance within the Customs community and beyond. Additionally, the session will examine emerging topics, including the effectiveness of rewards and sanctions and the corruption risks associated with automation.
