15th Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) / RTC Kenya Graduation

NAIROBI, KENYA
RTC Kenya is today graduating about 400 students in the #15thKESRAGraduation in various subjects: Customs, Tax, Border Control and in Freight Logistics. The theme of the ceremony is “Towards Innovative Approaches in Capacity Building for Tax and Customs Administration”. The RTC, which also serves as the Kenya School of Revenue Administration, is one of ESAs 4 WCO RTCs, and in charge of the WCO Economic Competitiveness Package in the region. Kenya’s Principal Secretary for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Dr. Kevit Desai (rep.) highlighted the RTC role in enhancing national (and regional) economic capacities and called for enhanced research and innovation within the RTC. The Kenya CG Mr. John Njiraini announced that the RTC will launch and e-Campus for Customs and Tax and highlighted various partnerships with various institutions including OECD, ATAF, London School of Economics. The RTC Head, Commissioner Fred Mugambi reiterated their commitment to becoming Africa’s centre of excellence in Customs and Taxation.
