The World Customs Organization , East and Southern Africa , Regional Office for Capacity Building is the Secretariat for the Governing Council and Regional Steering Group of the World Customs Organization, East and Southern Africa.
The Governing Council comprises 22 Member Administrations.

About Us
History
The WCO East and Southern Africa Region consists of 22 Member Countries and the region is diverse, including landlocked developing and less developed countries, and small island developing states.
Through the WCO East and Southern Africa Heads of Customs Conference (HoCC) and the Regional Steering Group (RSG) established in June 2004, the countries in this region took important steps towards stainable capacity building. In November 2004, the RSG agreed on a draft declaration advocating the establishment of a permanent management structure for co-ordination of capacity building
programmes in the region.
The Regional Office for Capacity Building is located in Nairobi, Kenya.
